BEAMS BOY BEAMS BOY staple crew sweatshirt without needles has been updated. The round body with no hooks on the sides is also a characteristic of BEAMS BOY 's original sweatshirts, and there are only a limited number of knitting machines that can knit it. Also, if you change the width too much, you won't be able to use this machine with a round body, so we prioritize making it with a round body and keep the width unchanged. Add 2 cm to the length and 1 cm to the sleeve width. The sleeves had a slightly straight line, but the cuffs were lengthened to give the silhouette a little more bulge.

■Coordination
A versatile sweatshirt that can be mix and match with a variety of basics. Because of its clean silhouette, it goes well with voluminous bottoms.

■Details
The sweatshirt is made using a circular body knitting machine with no side seams, and is characterized by its knitting style that gives off a striped pattern, as well as its light weight and fluffy bulge. The details reproduce the needle-cut ribs and freedom sleeves that are typical of vintage sweatshirts from the 1950s. Because it is simple, it is a product that we are proud of, paying close attention to the materials and details.

■Size
It's not too loose, but has just the right amount of room to look neat. We've added a new size 3 to our lineup and have a wide range of sizes available.

■ Material
The material is very soft and comfortable to wear. By changing the thread count from 38 to 30, the texture has improved a little.

■Care method
Washing machine available. Due to the characteristics of the material, the back side can easily get caught, so please be careful when wearing it.

This is a long-standing staple of BEAMS BOY. We took another look at whether this shape can still be considered basic. The first thing we noticed was the neck opening. Up until now, the neck opening was wide, but most basic items from BEAMS BOY today have a tight neck. So we decided to make the neck of this ongoing sweatshirt a little tighter. The theory behind the double V-neck seen in vintage items is that the front and back drop is the same (there is no difference in the height of the front and back of the neck, and they are the same height), so this is an update that follows that detail. There are probably not many women's brands that are so particular about creating basic items in this way. It's a unique attention to detail that only BEAMS BOY can offer!
