This model pays homage to the world's first personal calculator, the "Casio Mini," released by CASIO in 1972. The color and design of the "Casio Mini" have been incorporated into the long-selling CALCULATOR-style model, the "CA-53." The LCD uses a green inverted type. The numeric keypad uses the same font as the original, with each key separated by a grid-like line. In addition, the mode notation in the upper right corner is colored red, reminiscent of the power lamp.
