These hand towels are made in a factory that has been in business since 1887, based on hand-dyed tenugui. They have a warm design that is characteristic of Sometaro, and are available in a color Special order to BEAMS CULTUART.

■ Sometaro Yamagishi Haruchikainstagram
Born in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture in 1994.
He was impressed by the work of dyeing artist Keita Miyairi and began stencil dyeing under his advice.
The shapes we see and words we hear every day are expressed using stencil dyeing.
In addition to his own work, he also designs store curtains, signs, and other items.
