The company's origins lie in a leather workshop founded by founder Alessandro Ferigi and current president Anna Lisa Ferroni in the northern Italian town of Ferrara. Currently, about 50 leather craftsmen work in the leather workshop, and the company is known as a brand of handmade leather products. Products using nylon from Italy's Limonta, which is also used by a certain maison brand, are synonymous.
