These shoes are modern updates based on a 60s American plain toe vintage wooden last. The upper design is based on the 40s US NAVY service shoes, featuring six double-stitched holes and a T-back heel. The design of the opening and the lowered inside of the shoe are unique to American shoes. The upper leather of the "BLACK" is German "Weinheimer G Box (Karl Freudenberg box calf)", while the upper leather of the "BROW /CACAO" is Italian "Ilcia box calf". In addition, each plain toe shoe uses carefully selected materials for each part, such as Dupuy lining, oak bark for the bottom, kangaroo leather for the piping to increase strength, and 100% cotton flat laces.
The brand name is an acronym for Re Create Archive Footwear. We "re-create" while paying tribute to the archives. Learn from the past to know the new. Somehow nostalgic and yet somehow new, we respect the good old days, but we also feel and value the present. We create products that are ultimately minimalist and high quality.
