This is a dish that allows you to fully enjoy the essence of Arita ware.
When applying the dye, a technique called "dami" is used.
The process involves drawing the outline of the painting on the base and then painting inside it with a thick, dark brush dipped in gosu, giving it an image reminiscent of a coloring book.
The amount of gosu is adjusted by pressing the brush with a finger, and although it appears to be a single color at first glance, there are actually shades of color.
The contrast between the round porcelain and the irregular freshwater pearls is the highlight of this piece.
Freshwater pearls are also called "baroque pearls" and are attractive for their unique shapes that are only possible with natural materials.
Some are slightly angular, some are flat, and the various shapes that occur by chance in nature are all unique.
The secret to their popularity is that they are more casual and easy to wear on a daily basis compared to perfectly round pearls.
The pedestal is engraved with a small ``HIZEN Jewelry''.
It will be delivered in a special box, so it is recommended not only for yourself but also as a gift for a special person.
The unique characteristics and charm of pottery from each historic production region are fully brought out and expressed in the new category of jewelry.
Each item is a carefully crafted piece of ``porcelain to wear'' that can be used for a long time across generations.
[Arita ware/Kiln: Bunshogama]
Its distinctive feature is the application of vivid yet delicate colors such as indigo, red, yellow, and gold to hard, durable, and transparent white porcelain.
In the early 17th century, Korean potter Sambei Kanegae I (commonly known as Lee Sampei) and others discovered pottery stone, the raw material for porcelain, in Izumiyama, Arita Town, and Japan's first full-scale production of porcelain began.
Approximately 400 years ago, it continues to produce a wide range of products from tableware to arts and crafts.
