The 270 was created with a simple, elegant design and a comfortable fit.

The name comes from the fact that these shoes can be worn comfortably for approximately 270 days a year, spanning three seasons: spring, summer and autumn.

The leather used is smooth leather that has been tanned with a mixture of chrome and tannin, and "Flügels" cowhide steer leather from Himeji.

The outsole is made from an original soft rubber that is flexible yet non-slip.

The insole is an original BENEXY design that provides a stress-free fit.

*There is a "tuck hole" in the heel that is made during the manufacturing process of the shoes. This is the mark made when the "upper" (leather upper) is placed over the foot form called the "last" (wooden form), and a nail is hammered into the heel to temporarily secure it in place. This is proof that the shoes were made by hand by a craftsman.
