The BEAMS PLUS engineer jacket is based on a vintage American store brand from the 1950s and 1960s, with updated fittings for a modern, easy-to-wear design.

■Details
The raglan sleeves and triple stitching hold down the key points of workwear, and the sleeve length is deliberately set a little short, making it less bulky even when worn with the cuffs rolled up. It is called the engineer jacket because of the story that mechanics and others liked to wear it at the time.

■Size
Adopts a slightly loose pattern typical of workwear.

■ Material
A modified hickory material made from thick and heavy linen thread. The striped part is expressed by changing it to yarn with a different count. In addition, by changing the texture of the weft threads at equal intervals, a shadow border appears, giving the fabric a sense of depth.
