■ Design
A nautical-style bay jacket from BEAMS PLUS, designed based on vintage items from a leading East Coast brand from the 1970s.
■Details
Although it is a pullover design, the front zipper is set deep, making it easy to layer and put on and take off. The vertical patch pocket on the left chest is functional and iconic, designed to resemble use on a ship, and is large enough to store sunglasses or a map. Snap buttons are used for the flap buttons, giving it a sporty feel.
■Size
The pattern has a slightly looser length and width, allowing you to coordinate with layered styles without stress.
This item is easy to coordinate with shirts as well as cut-and-sew items, and is useful as a light outerwear item.
■ Material
The fabric is made by Komatsu Matere in Ishikawa Prefecture. The nylon taffeta material is made of 40 denier raw silk, and is light and thin, with a classic feel.
