A capsule collection by ACADEMY by Blackstock & Weber and BEAMS PLUS (BEAMS PLUS), an apparel line by the New York-based brand. The collection, titled "Orientation," symbolizes the partnership between the two brands.
Reconstructed from a vintage sweatshirt from the 1960s. The fabric is made of a horizontal fabric that reduces vertical shrinkage, which was seen in athletic wear of the time.

■Details
The designer's preferred compact size of the hood allows for an adjustable fit with a drawstring. The zigzag colored stitching on the hood adds a playful touch to the design. The name tag is an original design created specifically for this collection.

■Size
The fitting is a bit classic, with a slightly larger pattern. It has a relaxed atmosphere, but not too loose.

■ Material
The inside is made of a raised material for enhanced warmth. The fabric is made using the Azuma knitting machine, a low-speed knitting machine, for a soft and fluffy feel.
The Azuma knitting machine is one of the early knitting machines from the 1970s, when loopwheel knitting machines were transformed into high-speed knitting machines, and is a rare and valuable knitting machine with few remaining in existence. In addition, the knitting speed is extremely slow, and one knitting machine can only knit about 1 to 2 bolts of fabric per day, making it a low-productivity knitting machine. The slow speed allows for a fluffy and soft texture to the fabric.
