EK JAPAN, which is well-known for its vacuum tube amplifiers, has released an assembly-type hybrid vacuum tube amplifier kit that uses a cube-shaped design measuring 88 mm on each side.
This is a hybrid amplifier that uses a vacuum tube in the input section and a digital amplifier in the output section, providing both smooth and powerful sound. No soldering is required during assembly, and it can be easily assembled with radio pliers (hex wrench included). In addition to playback from CD players, iPhones, and iPods, the built-in USB-DAC allows you to enjoy the warm sound of vacuum tubes from sound sources stored on your PC. Another point is that you can choose the output from speakers or headphones.
Although it is compact, it has a solid sense of weight, and is a vacuum tube amp that can be enjoyed by laying it out in any orientation you like, either vertically or horizontally.

-Introduced USB power interlock function. The amplifier will automatically turn on/off in conjunction with the power of the PC. There is also an ON/OFF switch for this function itself.
- Adopts a DC-controlled electronic volume built into the amplifier IC to avoid gang errors (difference in left and right volume) even at low volumes.
