An introspective and relaxing piano improvisation session
This is an improvised collaborative session work by The Vernon Spring, a solo project by multi-instrumentalist/composer/producer Sam Beste, who is well-known for his beautiful piano works, and Gwilym Gold, the former frontman and singer-songwriter of the now-defunct band Golden Silvers. It is a compilation of three to four hours of recordings by two pianos, including a grand piano equipped with a "magnetic resonator piano" (an electronically expanded acoustic piano that can acoustically bring out new sounds from the piano strings without using a speaker). The introspective and sometimes meditative sounds bring quiet time and peace.
