『FRAXTAL』
An installation commemorating the publication of Japan-based British artist Russell Maurice's new zine ``FRAXTAL'' will be held at BEAMS T Harajuku from February 17th (Friday).
At this event, in addition to the release of a new zine containing art composed only of "old-fashioned" analog methods using a copy machine "Xerox machine", apparel items incorporating the artwork of this work will be released. Also on sale.
Please take this opportunity to enjoy Russell Morris' worldview.
The fabric uses 13.5oz pile lining.
Russell Maurice
Born in England in 1975, lives in Chigasaki.
Completed master's program at Central Saint Martins Graduate School.
Became familiar with graffiti culture at the age of 8, and created his first zine at the age of 14. In 1993, he started The Gas face, the predecessor of his current brand GASIUS. It started being sold in places like Slam City in London and became wildly popular.
In addition, as a major artist of the "Comic Abstraction" movement, which originated from graffiti culture in Europe, he has exhibited in Japan and other parts of the world.
