HELEN
Helen Beard (born 1971 in Birmingham, UK) studied at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and spent 15 years in the film industry as an assistant art director.
Throughout this time, Helen has continued to practice art in a variety of mediums, including paint, collage, and needlepoint.
Her work expresses movement and color, using a vibrant palette and ever-changing frameworks from close-ups to wide shots to create intimate landscapes.
Her paintings are a textured fusion of form and color, using fluid brushstrokes that caress the skin.
