Tokyo-based graphic designer and artist SHINKNOWNSUKE will be holding an art show at BEAMS T Harajuku from Friday, September 26th. The exhibition, titled "EIRN," attempts to embody the formless sense of discomfort and subtle misalignment felt when we pause in our daily lives, as well as the emotional fluctuations that arise from them, through a multi-layered expression of objects, graphics, and layers. SHINKNOWNSUKE's unique interpretation expresses the beauty of the feeling of not understanding something, and the value hidden in incomprehensibility.

In addition to exhibiting and selling new artworks, the venue will also feature apparel items incorporating the artwork. Five items will be available, including crew neck sweatshirts, hoodies, and tote bags, as well as seven stationery items in collaboration with Penco®, including desk clocks and tape holders, which will brighten up your desk. A moderately loose silhouette that suits the Japanese body type.

■ Material
A luxurious 18.7 oz heavyweight body made from open-end yarn (air-spun yarn) made from American cotton, a staple of MADE IN USA products. The fibers contain air, giving it a plump, voluminous feel, while the moderately stiff texture maintains a thick silhouette. In addition, the backing yarn is slightly brushed to eliminate the stiffness of the fleece, which is a drawback of heavyweight bodies. The fabric has just the right amount of softness and volume, and we have adjusted it to have the best texture that even sweatshirt freaks will nod in agreement with.
