Colorful candies!?
The colors are beautiful, like colorful candy, but these rings are actually all made using vintage glass.
I bought this in 2024 from the brand gren by M, and I love its mirror ball-like feel. The top is made of natural stone, and each piece has a slightly different color and feel, so you can feel that it's unique and special.
After I met the designer Yamada-san for the first time in Paris, we became good friends and hit it off because of our mutual love of gyoza. When I came across this "Candy Ring" (my own name) at an exhibition I was visiting, I thought "This is so attractive" and bought it immediately without any hesitation.
Yamada says, "Each vintage glass stone was made in a glass workshop north of Paris in the 1960s and is handmade. I designed the arms and stone settings with love for each stone, to bring out their individual differences and personality."
The indescribable, but good, cheap feel of the cast, and the striking color and shape of the natural stone make you feel the urge to pick it up.
They come in three sizes: 10, 13, and 15. You can wear just one for a chic look, or wear lots of them for a pop look!
