Hiroshima project! Skin care with a cat-shaped body brush made from Kumano brushes
This item was born from a collaborative project between Beams Hiroshima and a manufacturing company in the BEAMS region. What to make... During a meeting, various ideas were exchanged, and the topic of owning a cat came up. President Doi is also a cat lover, and we all agreed, so we decided to develop a product for cat lovers.
The "original makeup brush" was developed in 2015 as a collaboration between Doi Mokko, a company with 70 years of experience making Fuchu furniture, famous for its wedding furniture, and Koyudo, a company with 45 years of experience making brushes. It was inevitable that the genes of Kumano brush makeup brushes, a traditional craft representative of Hiroshima Prefecture that has been passed down since the Edo period, and Fuchu furniture would come together. Whether they knew it or not... Now, through a co-creation program between BEAMS Hiroshima and Makuake, a "body brush made using Kumano brushes" has been born.
