Designer Nakagami Kazue was born in Hiroshima in 1979. After graduating from a fashion school, he moved to the UK. He started his career in London and after returning to Japan, gained experience as a pattern maker at several companies, including sacai, before going independent. Since then, he has been based in his hometown of Hiroshima. In 2013, he launched "Wei," the predecessor to NAK AGAM I, and in 2019, he launched "NAK AGAM I."
