Saarinen's style is based on the boots worn by jockeys in equestrian events, Mexico's traditional national sport, known as charro boots.

Each pair is handmade by skilled craftsmen in Mexico, the home of western boots.

Each piece of leather is hand-cut and then hand-sewn along a wooden mold, allowing the natural qualities of the leather to be fully utilized.

The style name "Saarinen" comes from Eero Saarinen, an important architect in 20th century modernist architecture.
