This patchwork checked tie was commissioned to JOHN COMFORT and is made using summery Indian madras fabric.
The moment I saw this fabric I thought it was cool.
Madras check with its rustic coloring is recommended as an accent piece for simple styling.
It goes great with suits and navy blazers, as well as the V-zone of seersucker and corduroy.

Founder Mr. John Comfort was born in 1879 and established The Cathedral Knitting Company in 1908. The company began producing hand-framed knit ties and later changed its name to J. Comfort and Company Ltd. In the 1930s, the company developed hand-block printed Ancient Madder and regimental stripes, as well as Macclesfield fabrics.
