A classic item from BEAMS F that is now fresh again.
We have reprinted the dot ascot tie from JOHN COMFORT, which was a staple of BEAMS F from the 1980s to the mid-90s. At that time, the ascot tie was a must-have item for French Ivy, and it was a very popular item among BEAMS staff and customers. The fabric is also dyed at a printing factory in the UK, and each piece is carefully sewn by Japanese craftsmen.

Founder Mr. John Comfort was born in 1879 and established The Cathedral Knitting Company in 1908. The company began producing hand-framed knit ties and later changed its name to J. Comfort and Company Ltd. In the 1930s, the company developed hand-block printed Ancient Madder and regimental stripes, as well as Macclesfield fabrics.
