Based on Yamatozakura Shuzo's sweet potato shochu "Yamatozakura," the label features an original design featuring Sakurajima, the symbol of Kagoshima. The bottle and cap are also custom-made to express the unique character of Wada Kenjiro Shoten.
The brewery, Yamatozakura Shuzo, is committed to handcrafting its sake, and its shochu is made by skilled artisans who incorporate modern perspectives and sensibilities while preserving tradition. Its flavor is highly regarded among shochu lovers, who call it "the shochu of shochu" and "the ultimate standard."
The owner recommends drinking it at room temperature with water to preserve the original flavor of the shochu. Of course, it can also be enjoyed with ice or soda, making it a versatile drink. Shochu made with local Kagoshima sweet potatoes not only pairs well with Kagoshima cuisine, which has a simple, rich, and sweet flavor, but also goes well with any other ingredients. The owner's specially selected premium shochu, "Imo SHOGUN," is a recommended gift for someone special.
