It also features a water-repellent finish, making it ideal for sudden rain showers. The filling is made with high-loft 800-fill-power down. Lighter than standard down (typically around 600 fill power), it retains a high amount of warm air. Perfect as an outer layer in slightly chilly weather or as a mid-layer during the coldest months, this jacket boasts both excellent design and functionality. Its pocketable design makes it a convenient item for travel and when temperatures fluctuate widely.
