Since its establishment in 1912, L.L.Bean (L.L. Bean) has been loved around the world for over a century. Inspired by the reliable quality and craftsmanship honed in the outdoors, the Japanese design team has re-created a new style that resonates with Japanese sensibilities while paying the utmost respect to the archives of yesteryear.

L.L.Bean Bean's Field Coat" was first introduced as a hunting coat in 1924 and has a history of more than 100 years.
- Materials and silhouettes have been updated to suit Japan's hot and humid spring and summer climate and Japanese body types.
- By removing the gun patches on both shoulders, the look has been updated to give a cleaner, more refined impression.
- Uses CEBO NNER(R) nylon canvas material developed by Toray, instead of conventional cotton canvas.
- A special wrinkle treatment has been applied to give it a very matte, cotton-like appearance, despite being 100% nylon.
- It has just the right amount of tension, yet is extremely light, and has a soft, comfortable feel right from the moment you put it on.
