L.L.Bean JAPAN EDITION
Since its establishment in 1912, L.L.Bean (L.L. Bean) has been loved around the world for over a century. Inspired by the reliable quality and craftsmanship honed in the outdoors, the Japanese design team has re-created a new style that resonates with Japanese sensibilities while paying the utmost respect to the archives of yesteryear.

■ Design
This fisherman's cardigan is based on the Fisherman's Sweaters produced in the 1980s. The knitting pattern features traditional motifs such as honeycomb and rope patterns. The maple buttons give it a classic feel, but the cotton-polyester blend yarn makes it fluffy yet very soft and lightweight to wear.

■Size
The overall silhouette is loose, but by stretching the ribbing at the cuffs and hem, it gives the garment a roomy yet neat silhouette.

■ Material
The front wood buttons are made of maple, a specialty of the state of Maine in the U.S., where L.L.Bean is headquartered. Since cotton and polyester yarns are used instead of wool, it can be used in three seasons, spring, fall, and winter, except in midsummer. Hand-wash care is also a nice feature.
