SowdenLight was founded by George Sowden with the belief that he wanted to "revolutionize the world of lighting." This rechargeable portable lamp emits soft light. The removable shade is made of silicone, so it is shock-resistant and can be washed with water. It is safe for those who live with small children and pets. You can turn the light on and off and adjust the brightness in three steps by tapping the head.
George Sowden is one of the founding members of the designer group "Memphis" that was active in the 1980s. After gaining experience at the office of Ettore Sottsass, he joined Olivetti and devised numerous innovative design solutions, including computer design. This table lamp is unique to him, who creates rational yet unique designs.
