Reissue book containing "ACID NIGHT"
A collection of works by British photographer Dave Swindells. This is a reprint of the first edition released in 2022. It is now a more compact size that is easier to hold, has a ribbon on the cover, the layout of the pages inside has been changed to make them easier to read, and captions have been added.
The photographer photographed the "ACID NIGHT" event held at "Future" and "Shoom" in March 1988. It was later held at "Spectrum", "Trip", "Mutoid Waste Company", parking lots, bus stops, etc., and the last one was "Adrenalin" in November of the same year.
At the time, the author was the editor of the nightlife section of TIME OUT, recording and reporting on all of this.
Now, the author looks back on the history of "ACID HOUSE" and describes what it was like at the time through his own words and photographs.
