ZUPAGRAFiKA books is an independent publishing house from Poland that publishes books focusing on architecture and photography.

Brutalist architecture is an architectural style that became popular around the world in the 1950s after World War II.

It refers to architecture that is rough and devoid of decoration, using materials such as exposed concrete and glass as they are, as the word ``brutal'' (= beast-like, rough) suggests.

This book presents examples from Italy, focusing on social housing estates such as "Lavatrici" in Genoa, Nuovo Corviale in Rome, Vele di Scampia in Naples, and Rossole Melara in Trieste.
