"CHEVALIER" is based on a knitted cardigan jacket worn under outerwear in northern France from the 1900s to the 1930s. The body is made of a combination of cotton and washi paper, and the difference in the way it is dyed gives it a unique heathered texture. The design also incorporates the double-breasted front, which was extremely popular up until the 1930s. It is a piece that you will want to wear for many years, with the designer's attention to detail shining through in every detail.
