Fill a washbasin with water or lukewarm water and add detergent for delicates or detergent for silk. All you have to do is soak the silk product and leave it for the time specified by the detergent. At this time, gentle pressing is fine, but rubbing it hard is not recommended. Silk is weakest when wet, and if it is satin, pilling is noticeable. When spin-drying, do not wring it out, just let it drip. Hanging it without wringing it out will prevent deep wrinkles from forming. Silk has the same properties as skin, so if it is exposed to sunlight for a long time, it may cause sunburn. When hanging it out to dry, it is best to hang it out gently in the shade.
