[Leather characteristics]
Inspired by the allure of HYOGO LEATHER, Calling personally visited the tannery and was involved in the material development process for this collection. The collection features a unisex lineup that maximizes the unique characteristics of the leather while harmonizing with a modern sensibility.
Based on chrome tanning, the leather undergoes a "re-tanning" process to achieve richer colors and more uniform dyeing.
To prevent the leather from getting dirty easily, which is characteristic of nubuck leather, the leather fibers themselves have been given a hydrophobic (water-repellent) property.
・By touching it, the tips of the hair turn white, and you can enjoy a unique change in appearance called "whitening," which leaves fingerprints.
・The uniform fineness of the pile results in a high-quality finish with minimal variation in quality across different areas.
[About aftercare]
After use, gently brush the item with a lint brush or a brush specifically designed for nubuck and suede to restore the nap. Removing fine dust trapped in the fibers will help maintain the supple texture characteristic of nubuck.
If you notice fingerprints or whitening of the fur tips, gently brush the fur with a special brush to lift the hair and bring it back to its original texture.
• Although this product's leather fibers are treated to be hydrophobic, it does not completely block water. If it gets wet from rain or other sources, quickly wipe off the moisture by dabbing with a dry, soft cloth and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Do not use general creams or oils for smooth leather, as they may damage the unique napped texture of nubuck leather.
*Due to the characteristics of the leather material, there may be scratches, streaks, partial color differences, and dents that are unique to genuine leather. In addition, it may lose its shape, tear, or lose color due to water or friction.
