Pearls are mainly made of calcium carbonate and are sensitive to acids, heat, and water. If sweat and dust remain on the pearl surface, the acid and sweat will dissolve the surface of the pearl, causing it to lose its texture. In addition, the proteins in nacre have the property of turning brown when exposed to heat or ultraviolet light. When storing, we recommend wiping off sweat and moisture with a soft cloth and storing in a place where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat.
