Modern! High-density hand-woven Yonezawa Dantsu tapestry
A durable and beautiful carpet tapestry made by Yonezawa Dantsu using high density hand weaving.
The warp thread is intertwined with wool pile yarn, and the weft thread is intertwined with the wool pile yarn, resulting in a fabric structure that is dense and strong, allowing a variety of colors and patterns to be expressed.
The design is based on the samurai's "umajirushi" (horse brand), and features a variety of motifs such as deer antlers, fur, gourds, and insects.
With its modern feel, it is recommended as a room decoration or as a gift.
The carpet part is approximately 32cm x 14cm (item size includes fringe)

Yonezawa Dantsu Takizawa Kobo is a dantsu workshop located in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. They began researching carpet looms, invented a handloom that was easy to weave, and have been in the hand-woven carpet business since 1966. They aim to create dantsu that are "comfortable to look at."
