■ Design and specifications
Knee Chair X was created by Japanese designer Takeshi Nii.
This classic chair has been loved around the world for over 50 years since its creation in 1970, and is highly acclaimed for its comfort and beautiful form. It is foldable and collapsible, and has a simple design that thoroughly eliminates waste.

It consists of just six parts: a seat with a combined backrest and seating surface, pipe legs and a frame for the seat, a pair of wooden armrests on both sides, and four screws.
The assembly process is very simple and can be done relatively easily with just one Phillips head screwdriver.
It has a thick, durable seat and stainless steel legs that are rust-resistant and have been treated to make even minor scratches and distortions less noticeable, making it durable and designed to stay in beautiful condition, while also being easy to maintain.

To ensure that the seats are strong enough to comfortably support the weight of the person sitting on them and the structure of the chair, they use thick fabric from canvas factories in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, and Takashima, Shiga Prefecture.

In order to recreate the "softness and feel as if it had been washed once," we use thick, sturdy fabric that can support the body, but also apply a brushed finish to create fine fuzz for a gentle feel against the skin.

The armrests are made of beech wood and come in two colors: natural and dark brown.

The "Natural" model is environmentally friendly, with materials selected that recognizes differences in wood grain as "personality," and differences in the grain and knots between the left and right sides may be noticeable.
Traditionally, we have focused on beautiful appearance and used carefully selected wood, but in light of the recent situation in which forest resources have continued to decline, starting with the production of the Nyc Chair X 50th anniversary model, we have begun to promote the selection of materials that make the most of the natural texture.
It is a chair that can be used for a long time and become attached to it, making it a special chair.

4. Warranty Information
