Cut and shaped from a single piece of 11mm thick birch plywood, it was described at the time as "the simplest table ever made."
This minimalist table takes advantage of the characteristics of plywood, which is thinner yet stronger than solid wood and allows for flexible shapes, and is a masterpiece of modern design that remains relevant today.

Breuer was one of the most representative designers of the Bauhaus, and the plywood furniture series he designed is considered a symbol of 20th century furniture design and remains a foundation of interior design today.
This simple table can be used anywhere and comes in two sizes, M (medium) and L (large), and this is the L (large) size.
The M size fits perfectly inside the L size, which is slightly larger.

Marcel Breuer
Born in Pécs, Hungary. While studying at the Bauhaus, his talent was discovered by Walter Gropius and he began designing furniture.
He produced many excellent pieces of steel tubular furniture, such as the Wassily Chair, which remain icons of modern interior design to this day. After moving to the United States, he focused on the field of architecture, but also taught at Harvard University, making him one of the leading figures who had a major impact on 20th century architecture and design.
