■ Design
These wide shorts offer a relaxed fit thanks to their generous leg width and front pleats. They have a light, comfortable feel against the skin. There are pockets on the sides and hips.
■ Material
In Bishu, a region renowned for its wool textiles, a tropical wool fabric is produced using worsted yarn made from naturally colored merino wool. The worsted yarn, which has been further twisted, is woven slowly with sufficient tension, incorporating air into the fabric. A strong twist is used in the double-ply worsted yarn of 60-count colored merino wool. Similarly, a single-color seersucker fabric is woven using only the difference in shrinkage rates of yarns that have been woven separately from undyed off-white single yarn.
