Product description
Lovely and beautiful form! A soup bowl that fits into everyday life
A 4.5-inch bowl with beautiful colors and designs created using techniques unique to handicrafts. Whether you use it as a soup bowl or a rice bowl, it has a form that is easy to use on a daily basis and will decorate your dining table.

*All tableware is handmade, and even if the tableware is of the same shape, each item will be baked differently, including the way the pattern appears. Please note that there are some individual differences.

[Precautions when using pottery]
Before using it for the first time, we recommend sealing it (soak it in rice water or flour dissolved in water overnight). Also, before serving food, pass it through water before use. It prevents odor and oil from sticking. After washing the utensils, please dry them before storing them.
*We do not recommend using microwaves, ovens, or dishwashers.
A kiln was opened in Hita City, Oita Prefecture in 1705, and since then, the culture and manufacturing methods of 10 kilns have been passed down from generation to generation to this day. At the beginning of the Showa era, Soetsu Yanagi, the founder of the folk art movement, praised ONTAYAKI and popularized it, and it has now been designated as a national important intangible cultural property as a representative folk art of Japan. It has unique decorations called ``tobi plane'' and ``uchibakeme'' and has been loved by people since ancient times as a vessel for everyday use.
