This 9-inch plate was custom made to order using Mashiko's raw clay and the rice bran white and candy glazes Special order to Mashiko, in response to a request for a design with slightly raised edges.

It can be used for a variety of occasions, from single dishes to breakfast plates and dessert plates.
Made with respect for Mashiko's traditions, this vessel blends into everyday life and is also recommended as a gift.

[Precautions when using pottery]
Before using it for the first time, we recommend sealing it (soak it overnight in rice water or flour dissolved in water).Also, before serving food, soak it in water before use. It prevents odor and oil from sticking. After washing the utensils, please dry them before storing them.
