A vermilion and black lacquer confectionery cutter by Osamu Matsuzaki a lacquer craft artist from Motegi Town, Tochigi Prefecture.
Every step is handled by one person and each piece is carefully crafted, giving them an elegant, warm and appealing feel.
*Since all items are handmade, there may be slight differences between each item.
[Regarding the use of lacquerware]
*After use, wash with water or lukewarm water as soon as possible and wipe with a soft cloth.
*Normal stains can be cleaned without using detergent, but if the stain is stubborn, use a neutral detergent. (Leaving it as is can lead to damage and stains.)
*Stacking lacquerware on top of other pottery or other vessels may cause scratches. After washing, dry before storing. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or in extremely dry places.
*Lacquerware cannot be used in microwaves, dishwashers or dryers.
