This is a small container made by < Takata Orimono (Takata Olimono), a manufacturer specializing in tatami mat edges in Okayama, Japan. This time, we chose illustrations of Moomin, Nyoronyo, Little Mee, and Snufkin holding kitchen goods such as tableware to match the hand-painted mugs. You will enjoy the individuality of the characters, which stand out even from the common theme. This one features Gnoronoro in a cup with a jacquard pattern.

Moomin Arabia
Founded in 1873 in the Arabia district on the outskirts of Helsinki, Arabia is a lifestyle brand that has been a beloved part of Finnish daily life for nearly 150 years. Moomin Arabia, a collaboration with Moomin, is a series that has been running since the 1950s. Since the early 1990s, designer Tove Slotte has been creating collages of illustrations based on Tove Jansson's original drawings. The Moomins teach us the importance of spending time with our friends, celebrating good things, and taking time for ourselves. Takata Orimono
In 1892 (around the first year of the Meiji era), we began producing textiles in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. After the war, the company became a specialized manufacturer of tatami mats and became the No. 1 market share manufacturer. Currently, we produce warm and colorful tatami mats and promote the appeal and possibilities of textiles from Kojima, a textile town.
