With tasteful textiles
A lab coat with a rare archive motif that is said to have been worn by trainees at universities and medical facilities for protection. The distinctive side ventilation is inspired by modern African sportswear. The textiles are upcycled from British tablecloths from the 1990s. The hem and sleeves are cut out for an avant-garde look. Furthermore, the deep center vent allows for a unique back style.
A brand from London that includes many handcrafted elements. Designer OLUBIYI THOMAS was born in Lagos, Nigeria. After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2013, he worked as a pattern maker for Alexander McQueen. After learning tailoring under designer Sarah Burton, she established her own brand in June 2016.
