In the Nabeul atelier, skilled artisans carefully hand-weave each fouta using traditional looms that boast over 100 years of history. Mastering this ancient loom requires exceptional skill and perseverance, and it is a special product that has been made through a meticulous and time-consuming process.
*Fouta: A traditional Tunisian 100% cotton fabric.
Originally used as towels in Tunisian hammams (bathhouses), they are thin yet durable and highly absorbent. They are versatile items that can be used not only as towels, but also as a sheet on the beach, wrapped around the body or waist as a pareo, and as a multi-purpose cover in the bedroom in summer.

An artisanal brand founded by Paris-based Sonia Ben Madhkour and Youssra Hammami. Launched in May 2023, the project aims to support artisans and savoir-faire (artisans with excellent craftsmanship) in various parts of the Mediterranean coast (Tunisia, Italy, Greece, Spain, etc.) with the theme of the Mediterranean, which is associated with the founders.
