■Kae Tanaka
Born in 1995. Illustrator. Influenced by Osamu Tezuka and Hideo Azuma, he began drawing illustrations. After graduating from Tama Art University, he began his career as an artist. He presents works with a new sensibility while retaining the atmosphere of Japanese manga and animation from the good old days.
Her comment: I incorporated Lum into my own style. The coloring of Lum's hair on the pouch and the way the light hits it were inspired by the Urusei Yatsura manga. I was also impressed by the large number of stars used in the ending credits of the anime, so I used that as a motif.
