The material is a blend of organic cotton yarn, which is processed with "compact spinning" to prevent pilling, and linen, a natural material with excellent breathability and moisture absorption/release properties. It is comfortable to wear and does not get stuffy.
The secret to the vintage feel is the 3x1 rib knitted slowly on an old-fashioned low-gauge knitting machine. It has a unique look and gentle fit that cannot be achieved with modern mass-produced machines.
