The word "hanakin" was born in the late 80s and early 90s. Even after 30 years in modern times, the "hanakin karuta" is a game that tells a story in alphabetical order based on the values of the time, and the word "so" has been taken and made into a tote bag!
The illustrations are by talented illustrator Takeuchi Shuntaro, and the text is by stylist Kaji Yuta.
