Adorable Leo splits with K. Shimizu's sensibility
"Jungle Emperor Leo" is one of Tezuka Osamu's early masterpieces, and has had a profound influence on creators both in Japan and abroad. Artist Kousuke Shimizu has released the latest in his figure series, capturing the adorable form of the main character, Leo, using a technique known as "splitting." This latest figure recreates the coloring of Leo with colored bangs, as seen in the color manga manuscript.
