[Blue lacquer]
When lacquer is first applied, it is a dark brown color, but over time the color will become more transparent. This "blue lacquer" is made by mixing this lacquer with a pale yellow pigment. When it is first finished, it is a dull color, but the more time passes, the more vivid the blue becomes, and over time the wooden part on the outside will tan and darken in color, revealing the wood grain vividly.
