In 1970, he made his debut as an illustrator in the first issue of the magazine "an・an" (Magazine House), and has been active in a wide range of genres including magazines and advertisements. In 1976, she launched the character goods brand `` OSAMU GOODS'' with the motif of ``Mother Goose'', which gained explosive popularity among junior high and high school girls. He has produced many masterpieces such as the character "Potato Boy" (commonly known as) from Calbee's "Potato Chips" (1976), Mister Donut's premium (prize) illustration (from 1984), and Kiyoken's "Hyo-chan" soy sauce container (1988). He is known as one of Japan's leading illustrators.
