Product description
A zine that collects "Sentimental September" works
A zine produced to coincide with the solo exhibition "Sentimental September."

■ Sentimental September
One day in July, tired of the never-ending war and the advertisements in Tokyo, I decided to move to a new city with my family.
My wife and children moved out first, and I stayed behind in Tokyo to work on the project.
As I continued to paint from the evening until the morning, grab breakfast at a convenience store, sleep until noon, and then paint again, I was reminded of when I was 19 and had just moved to Tokyo.
What kind of paintings would I like to show to the me of back then, when I was drawing in my 4.5 tatami room in Setagaya with no intention of showing them to anyone?
I sketch in a notebook, and if I like it, I start painting on the canvas, but I also make sure to leave traces of mistakes, pencil marks, and redraws.
The time that I lived is left behind in the work, and randomness gives the work a vitality.
The nameless creatures also began to shine even more brightly.
Flowers blooming in space, naked girls, happy, sad, rude and childish.
Let's just go and face the world as we are.
