■ KukutaniYoshidaya, a retailer of original Kutani ware, music, skateboards, and other projects, is home to Kukutani, a brand of traditional Japanese crafts and Kutani ware, directed by Yoshiharu Yoshida, a skater and musician with an unusual background. The name "Kukutani" comes from the combination of the multiplication of "Kuku" (multiplication) and "Kutani ware." In addition to collaborating with Kutani artisans and artists to create products, the brand also creates original vessels developed locally and collaborates with artists, engaging in new endeavors by "multiplying" Kutani ware with other genres and cultures. Centered on Kutani ware, produced in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, the brand will present works and products that express the "present" that is connected to the past.
